Thanks to all our sponsors, speakers and volunteers for the time and hard work they put into producing the 2017 Carmel Film Forum and to everyone who attended the event. We had a great turnout and a lively weekend of discussion about the art and business of filmmaking in Indiana.
The feedback I received from the event’s evaluation forms was that everyone found the event informative and enjoyable. They especially liked hearing the filmmakers’ stories and their personal filmmaking experiences. What the participants suggested we could do to improve the event was to have more filmmaking workshops with more speakers and do it more often. This is good news for my Roberts sponsored Filmmaking 101 workshop that I’m planning to teach at the library’s Digital Media Lab in September. You can learn more about this FREE workshop and signup at the Carmel Clay Library Digital Media Lab. http://www.carmel.lib.in.us/dml
A special thanks to Randy Johnson Photography and Jay Cougan for shooting the event's awesome documentation photos!
