2017 Carmel Film Forum: Hollywood Is Coming To Indiana
Photo Documentation by Randy Johnson Photography
James E. Moriarty introduced Jon Schnepp, a successful Hollywood based producer, writer, and director. James had the first public screening of his “Indy produced” short film, BYTE The Prequel, and Jon made the regional premiere of his feature-length documentary, The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? Film Indy Commissioner, Teresa Sabatine, led a panel of production experts in a discussion of what it takes to succeed in Hollywood. The discussion examines issues pertaining to Indiana filmmaking and provided an opportunity for those who want to become filmmakers to learn from professionals in the field.
The 2018 Carmel Film Forum: Focus On Filmmaking featured a screenwriting workshop designed to develop screenwriting skills for writers at any skill level. Participants submitted their scripts to be performed by professional actors. Larry Lannan and Adam Aasen interviewed John Robert Armstrong of Pigasus Pictures. They discussed Pigasus’ Indy produced feature film, The Good Catholic, as well as the involvement of Pigasus Pictures in working with young filmmakers, the development of the Indy Film Fund and efforts to create more feature productions in Indiana. Indy produced short films were also screened with filmmaker Q&A.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the 2019 Carmel Film Forum Making The Big Picture: Preproduction and Crowdfunding. It was another great year, with over 100 people attending. We packed a lot into this year's Forum, and we received glowing feedback from our participant evaluation forms.
I want to thank everyone on the MarcoTV PinTech Team for all the hard work leading up to this point in the production. I would also like to thank all the Marco Specialties employees that assisted us with our video shoot last week. I want to share with you Ashley Ludwig's excellent behind the scenes documentation photos.
Again thanks for all the hard work. It shows in all the beautiful cinematographic footage we produced.
